What am I stitching? Part 5

Did you notice the lack of a post yesterday? That’s because I was busy stitching my little fingers off to prepare for today’s episode of “What am I stitching?

well, okay, I admit this post wans’t the entire reason I spent most of the weekend stitching. The fact that the baby could come any day now may have had something to do with it. For obvious reason’s, I’m hoping this child decides to take a cue from his/her big brother and come two weeks after the due date! In the meantime, let’s get on with the game. Here is last week’s picture:

Cross stitch 4

And here are the guesses:

Linda from Expat eye on Latvia said: “It looks exactly the same except now there’s a hatchet and I’m even more confused”. Just as a reminder, her previous guess was a KFC genetically modified chicken, which would make last week’s image a genetically modified KFC chicken with a hatchet. Interesting.

Polly from A Girl and Her Travels suggested “A sideways racecar with a flaming road?” Brings a whole new meaning to hot wheels :-D

Elaine from I Used to Be Indecisive said “I’m still going for teddy bear, I think, but now I think it might be holding a gold medal on a pink ribbon in its paw. Maybe the teddy has a yellow blanket over its head.

Katrin from Land of Candycanes came up with “A mix of Donald Duck and a leprechaun?” That leprechaun is still getting plenty if love!

Kay from Where’s my Glass Slipper‘s response was “If you look at it upsidedown it could be a mouse…or an elephant…a mousephant?” I now wish it was a mousephant!

K8 thought it might be some kind of boat, with a grey flag on the back…Either that or a cat in green dungarees climbing a yellow tree.

The Laughing Housewife suggested a baby holding a teddy.

And finally, Tina from Kulturschock said: “A green-headed angel (body as of yet unstitched) holding a bear (head as of yet unstitched) in a head lock.” Poor bear!

As I said, I’ve worked verrrrry hard on my stitching this weekend, so today I have this for you:

Cross stitch 5

And now I must be off… not to do more stitching, but to work overtime. It’s only Monday and I already hate this week!

Just as a reminder… German chocolate is up for grabs for:
1. The first correct guess and
2. My favourite creative guess

  1. It’s a rabbit in a green outfit sitting astride a moon. It’s left paw is holding the moon and the right paw is reaching up to try and touch the star. It is wearing a nightcap-style hat which is hanging down its back. The hat has a yellow bobble on the end.

  2. OMG, it’s the Incredible Hulk taking a piss!!! …in fact, he’s giving himself a golden shower….

  3. I am still sticking to my leprechaun idea, I am not so sure about the Donald Duck anymore. But this time the leprechaun creature is sitting on a moon.and he has a letter in his pocket.

  4. A child dressed in green with a grey teddy on it’s back? Only the legs of the teddy are stitched so far.

  5. I know it’s over used, but I actually laughed out loud!

  6. A rabbit in a green teddy bear angel suit on the moon!

  7. It’s a baby bunny trying to knock that pesky star off the top of the moon! :) Dammit, I missed last weeks! :( It’s looking good, I’m now convinced that’s what it is! :)

  8. Right now, this looks like Jeff Goldblum halfway through his transformation into The Fly assaulting a rabbit on the moon. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

  9. Looks like a green Cat in the Hat on the moon :)

  10. Ditto what the other Elaine said above – the ears are the giveaway! And his little onesie has a patch on the bum. You are such a tease Bev.
