The mystery of time

Time is a funny thing isn’t it? Sometimes it flies by, sometimes it seems to drag and at other times it somehow manages to do both at once.
Take right now for instance. I’ve had both of the following thoughts at some point this morning:

– How is it only Thursday? Surely it’s been longer than that since we last had a weekend?
– It’s the 19th February already? Wow, this month has gone by so fast.

Maybe I’m just strange…

  1. And how about time dragging by and flying past in the same day … happened to me yesterday … bored bored bored … OMG it’s 2.00 am …. definitely weird.

  2. sleepyjane – lucky you, I can’t remember the last time a week sped fast. You’d think time would go faster the more work I have, but instead I look back on the work I’ve done each day and think “was it really only this morning that I read that? It feels like about two days ago”. Which means that every week seems to go on for twice as long. And if there’s no work… boredom causes the day to drag. I cannot win.

Athome – ok, that is weird ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. I guess it all depends on what we’re up to. It sucks when the time is fleeting during our happiest moments, and it feels forever when we’re stuck in a predicament or when we’re bored. At the end of the day, we can only really move forward!!
