It seems I’m not the only one that’s excited by Primark…

This is an extract from my blog stats for the last 7 days, specifically from the search engine terms section – it’s an extract because I decided to spare you the remaining 20, which weren’t too interesting, really (other than the one that said “squirter janjab” and I’m not even sure I want to know what that means…):

As you can see (I hope – it’s a little blurry. Try clicking on it for a more readable image), “primark karlsruhe” is well in the lead. I knew I wasn’t the only one who is pleased that Primarni (as it is known in certain circles) has finally arrived in my little corner of Deutschland.

The people searching for “happy no housework day 2013” are getting a little ahead of themselves, I feel. It is still 2012, you know!! Please don’t wish next year on me already. However, IΒ do admit I was intrigued enough to go and look up No Housework Day for myself. It’s on 7 April, apparantly. I had never heard of it, but I may feel the need toΒ join in next year. Not that I’m brilliant at keeping up with my housework at the best of times (as long-time readers know), but on an official day I won’t even have to feel guilty about it πŸ˜€

  1. Ha, thats great — at least Primark does you a favour and brings some people to your blog πŸ˜‰
Oh, it is such a pity that there is none around here, I have seen adorable reindeer cardigans which I really REALLY need…. Will need to check whether they have an online shop (for the less fortunate, ha ha)…
Sometimes it’s weird what kind of topic generates the traffic for a blog, I once wrote about a painter, and added some of his most popular works which now got by far the most hits. Strange.

Anyways, have a lovely Friday and a happy weekend,

    1. I saw a jumper with an owl on another blog that came from Primark in Frankfurt and guess what… my Primark doesn’t have it! Aaargh! I hope you find the reindeer cardigan.

The term that gets me most hits on my blog – other than just “Confuzzledom”, which I assume is people who actually WANT to find me – is “I wouldn’t thank you for a valentine poem” – I suspect from people who are studying it at school. I wish I’d never written about it now. Haha.

    1. I took a screenshot then pasted it into a program and cut out the part I wanted. I had to remove a bit in the middle and put the 2 ends together as well – the number of views was miles away from the actual term otherwise. (I used Paint first them copied the picture from paint into another program so I could save it as a .jpg file – WordPress said no to .bmp!)

These searches are more fun than most – usually I get “wat to do when your board”. My reponse? Learn to spell!!

    1. 6000?! OMG! None of my posts has had that many hits to date – the most is about 1,600 when I typed up the poem “I wouldn’t thank you for a valentine”. I’m not sure my brain can handle the idea of that many hits. Haha.

(I just had to edit this comment. I originally wrote 600 instead of 6000. See, even my fingers can’t cope with that number of hits!)

      1. ha ha. The bounce rate is pretty massive needless to say. It’s just people trying to find out the address, local station etc. My second most popular is my homemade baby mobile tutorial and that one has around 1200 hits so there’s quite a difference!!!
