30-something (eek, how did that happen?) English woman living in Switzerland with my German boyfriend. Mama to two teeny stars in the sky born too soon at 16 weeks, 4 days.
I read, I cross stitch, I travel. Occasionally I bake. I hate being referred to as an expat (why are only poor people/non-whites "migrants"?). I blog about anything that comes into my head. It keeps me sane!

This looks tasty!
It was!
I will admit that I don’t know what it is – this is why I would fail at the MasterChef Pallete Challenge! – it does look yummy though!
It literally means “sow’s stomach”. It’s usually pork, but this is wild boar (or wild sow really, I suppose). Don’t let the name put you off… it’s really tasty!
Is that that cold potato salad stuff? Not a fan – spuds should be hot! π
Yes, it is cold and it is potato salad. There are different kinds (some with yoghurt), but most are served cold. If we make it at home, we usually have it sort of luke warm.
Yeah, I had it in Munich – with Leberkase – I was hoping the potatoes would save the meal. They didn’t π
LOL, this one was really nice (honest!). I don’t like it when they have too much onion in, or they stick bits of gherkin in. Bleurgh!
More onion could have helped, but I doubt it π Better get in the shower before H returns… π
Yum! I’m going on Saturday with my parents π
Have fun! I hope you get better weather! We had to go last week due to other commitments.
That looks sooooo good!
It was amazing!
