Three Days, Three Quotes Challenge – Day 1

I was nominated for this challenge by Irish Procrastinator – if you haven’t read her blog yet why not? It is ace! I love a good quote, so the real challenge here will be picking only three.Β  I hope my little offerings can live up to her expectations!

1. Thank the person who nominated you – muchas gracias my lovely!

2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).

3. Nominate three bloggers each day.

For my first quote, I have chosen the late, great Sir Terry Pratchett. Given events in the world today, this seemed appropriate.

Pratchett quote

Small Gods isn’t my favourite Discworld book, but I do love this quote.

Be the potato of defiance you wish to see in the world!

My nominees for today are:

Kezzie

Alison

Beth

I think you three will have some great quotes to share. But please don’t worry about playing along if you prefer not to!

    1. I literally opened a photo in the “graphics” program, cropped it to the size I wanted, pressed the “add text” button and wrote in the quote, then saved. I can’t do anything fancy, but I can manage that πŸ˜‰

  1. I’ve never read any TP but 2 of my children think his books are wonderful, and this quote is excellent (although I’ve never thought of myself as a ‘potatao of defiance’ – never too late…) so perhaps one day I shall.

    1. LOL, I wouldn’t know how to use any graphics program other than ours. Normally I only use it to resize photos so they take up less precious space on my blog (I’ve used 80% of my allowance already!), but it has an option to add text so I just tried it out.
