Merry, merry

The cleaning is done, the gifts are wrapped, the tree is up – and it’s huge! All that remains is to wish you, my dear readers, a wonderful Christmas. I know it hasn’t been the year any of us expected and for many people this Christmas will be very different but I hope you all manage to have a good one anyway. If you are alone, then enjoy the fact that you can do exactly as you please… and if that means pretending Christmas happening then so be it! I won’t wish you a happy New Year yet since I’ll be back with at least one more post (Show Us Your Books favourites, for which I’ll be doing my usual end-of-year book survey) so I will just say:

Happiest of Christmases to you all, however you are spending it!

So here it is, Merry Christmas

Colmar Christmas18

I would like to wish all my readers a happy and stress-free Christmas with your loved ones (be that your actual family of the family you’ve chosen for yourself). I hope those who have had a tough year can find some measure of peace, those who have difficult people in their lives can avoid them and their comments, and we all all come out the other side of the Christmas period refreshed and ready to face a new year… and new decade! Catch you on the other side – my next post will be linking up with Jana and Steph for a special extra Show Us Your Books., so look out for that
